Midspey? Fly Line The MidSpey is a spey line with a mid-length head between 59 ft ? 68 ft. Designed for the spey caster who has mastered the basic techniques and needs a line with a head long enough to mend effectively, yet short enough to load a spey rod easily. The MidSpey is available in a floating, sink Tip and interchangeable tips versions. The Interchangeable Tips line features RIO?s welded loops and includes a body section, a floating and Intermediate Tip 2 Compensator and 15 ft (4.6m) floating, clear intermediate (1.5 ips 4 cm/s), DC Type 3 (3 ips, 8 cm/s), DC Type 6 (6 ips, 15 cm/s) and DC Type 8 (8ips, 20 cm/s) tips.
